While AKP says “Colonel Cicek`s detention is not related with the document, is about the Ergenekon case”, CHP comments as “this is a revenge”. Cicek`s advocate contested Cicek`s detention.

soL (NEWS DESK) the first responses is coming afterwards of Colonel Cicek`s detention . AKP`s Kirikkale MP Vahit Erdem, stated that Dursun Cicek has not been detained because of the “The action plan against the religious reaction”, but detained for the Ergenekon investigation.

Erdem said "He has not been arrested because of the sign which he made under that document, he has been arrested on the ground that he had entered into relations with an organisation regarding the Ergenekon case. It needs to be clarified if this document is forged, who did this and how did it happen. If there is somebody who wants to sow discord in the establishments of the state, we need to reveal to who they are.”

Baykal: the detention of the Cicek is revenge
CHP`s leader Deniz Baykal evaluated the issues as “What is wanted is harass the Chief of the General Staff. For this reason the timing occurred like this. There is the revenge mentality. We can see the tension between the state organizations.” in his speech in party`s administrative board.

Cicek`s advocate came to the Istanbul court of law in Besiktas and wanted his committer to be released. The demand of the advocate will be considered.
