We have lost Kemal Özer

The Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) and Nazım Hikmet Culture Center (NHKM) live the pain of losing Kemal Özer.
soL (NEWS DESK) Kemal Özer, who was born in 1935, was one of the leading poets in our country. He was a member of Art Front of TKP, a worker of Nazım Hikmet Culture Center and writer of soL. He was decisive to become a lecturer of the Literature Department of the Academia of Nazım Hikmet. Kemal Özer was the poet of our struggle.
The Communist Party has lost one of its most hardworking, devoted, honest and young companions.
We are going to bury brother Kemal on Thursday July the 2nd; the anniversary of Sivas Massacre which was also a subject of his poems.
